The full height of the barn gives a wonderful sense of space.  The original lime-mortarded stone walls retain original agricultural features and are complemented with rich fabrics and eclectic artworks.

There is underfloor heating throughout the property, and a large and efficient wood-burning stove with logs provided for the winter months. There are two seating areas: one by the full-height window opening with double doors to the courtyard garden, and the other with two large comfy sofas by the wood-burning stove. There is also a downstairs loo and lobby.

A staircase leads to the mezzanine level where there is a 50-inch HD TV with Sky and Netflix, together with board games and a large library of books. This is where we have the large, comfortable double sofa-bed.

The kitchen is very spacious, equipped with a Rangemaster 110cm stove with 6 gas hobs and two electric ovens, Bosch dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave. All necessary cooking utensils are in place and some basic supplies like salt, pepper, Fairy liquid, dishwasher tabs, etc.

There is a second fridge and freezer in the adjacent Utility Room, together with a washing machine, drying machine, iron with ironing board, belfast sink and workspace.

There is a beautiful view of the garden and distant countryside from the king-size bed. Ensuite bathroom with a large bath, shower, bidet and two basins. Built-in cupboards.

There is a lovely view of the garden, with stone walls and distant fields from all the bedrooms. No traffic noise and dark skies. All sheets, towels, soap, shampoo & conditioner are provided.

Bedroom 2 has a King-size bed, with a gorgeous garden view.  There is an ensuite loo, shower and basin, built-in cupboard and a chest of drawers.

Bedroom 3 has a double bed, and also a large single bed which can be used as a sofa if not being used as a bed.  There is a hanging rail and chest of drawers, ensuite loo and basin, and another garden view.
